Giusti Mixers and Pumps Mechanical Seals

The mechanical seals to suit Giusti Pumps and Mixers are mechanical devices that prevent product leakage.  Mechanical seals stop product leakage by trapping a microscopic layer of liquid between the two faces opposing.  These faces are usually lapped up to 2 lightbands or 0.00058mm of flatness.  One face will be stationary and the other rotates with the impellor shaft.

This post is dedicated to providing further information on the mechanical seal element and also advise where you can obtain an equivalent seal directly interchangeable with the OEM part.
