The Vernacare macerator benefits from Hands Free Opening Preventing the risk of cross contamination in the sluice room, and reducing ward staff time.

The macerator is hygenic, it avoids drain blockage, its energy efficient and very durable.

You may at somepoint need to replace the mechanical seal within the unit.

Why go straight to the manufacturer when you can go to the original manufacturer of the mechanical seal.  The OEM part number should be SP10090 or Part 9753005.  The seal looks like this:
